Student voice

Here’s a really interesting research summary where student voice has been used as part of teacher evaluation. I’m going to use it to help analyse my teaching and provide a focus for my coaching sessions.

Asking students.

Interestingly, it appears to the basis for the Sutton Trust analysis of teacher evaluation:

I think many would be concerned about this being used as (yet another) accountability tool. Interestingly, other schools are using it to help act as a guide for self-evaluation:
